Premier Renovations, Inc. designs and installs custom cabinetry that fits your kitchen, your storage needs, and the way your household actually moves through the day.
Cabinetry Designed to Fit Your Kitchen, Not the Other Way Around
Stock cabinets force your kitchen to work around fixed sizes and awkward gaps. Custom cabinetry does the opposite: every cabinet, drawer, and shelf is built to match your layout, your storage needs, and the finishes you actually want in your home.
As a kitchen renovation contractor serving Charlotte and the surrounding towns, we build cabinetry as part of full kitchen transformations or as a standalone upgrade to an existing space. Either way, our finish carpentry team handles the design, the millwork, and the installation under one roof.
Good cabinetry should disappear into daily life. It should open smoothly, hold what you need it to hold, and look like it was always meant to be there. That's the standard we build to on every project.
A custom cabinetry project with Premier Renovations covers everything from initial measurements to the final hardware install. We handle the details that stock cabinet retailers usually leave to homeowners.
In-home measuring and layout planning around your kitchen's actual footprint
Custom cabinet installation with soft-close hinges, drawer glides, and durable hardware
Material and finish selection, including wood species, stains, and paint colors
Custom woodwork for islands, pantry walls, and specialty storage
Integration with countertops, backsplash, and lighting for a finished look
Add-on options like built-in wine racks, pull-out shelving, and appliance garages
Why Homeowners Choose Us
Cabinetry Built by Craftsmen, Not Just Installers
Custom cabinetry is only as good as the people building and installing it. Premier Renovations brings in-house carpentry expertise to every project, so the cabinets in your kitchen are built to last well past the warranty period.
Skilled Carpentry Team
Our carpenters bring years of hands-on finish carpentry experience to every cabinet box, face frame, and drawer we build, so joints stay tight and doors stay aligned for years.
Designed Around Your Kitchen
We measure your space in person and design cabinetry to fit odd angles, low ceilings, or narrow galley kitchens instead of forcing standard sizes into a space that doesn't match.
One Team From Design to Install
You work with the same team from the first measurement through the final walkthrough, which means no miscommunication between a designer, a cabinet shop, and a separate installer.
How We Work
Our Custom Cabinetry Process
Every cabinetry project follows the same clear process, whether it's a full kitchen overhaul or a single wall of built-ins.
01
In-Home Consultation
We walk through your kitchen with you, talk through how you use the space, and take detailed measurements before any design work begins.
02
Design and Material Selection
We put together a cabinet layout and material plan, including wood species, finishes, and hardware, so you can see the full picture before we build anything.
03
Build and Finish
Our carpenters construct each cabinet piece, apply the chosen finish, and prepare everything for installation with the same attention to detail throughout.
04
Installation and Final Walkthrough
We install every cabinet, drawer, and door on-site, adjust for a perfect fit, and walk through the finished kitchen with you to confirm everything works the way it should.

Knowledgeable, professional and dependable.
Scott and his crew are knowledgeable and professional. We've done several home improvement projects with them throughout the years. We started with a small job of opening a wall and since then they have updated our kitchen, guest bathrooms and have completed a major bathroom renovation. We're proud to be repeat customers.

I contacted Premier Renovations to renovate my kitchen and two bathrooms. My parents would be moving upstairs into the space so it needed to be accommodating to their needs now and going forward. Scott and his team did an amazing job creating a comfortable and safe place for my parents while also staying within our budget. They have moved in and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Premier Renovations has been absolutely awesome to work with, helping us completely renovate our entire home out of the 1990s. The ideas they helped us come up with to make sure we were getting our dream home have been spot on, and we've been very happy with the overall end product. We'd highly recommend Premier to anyone considering a major renovation.

Premier just completed a major home renovation for us, new kitchen, new master bathroom and new hardwood floors. Premier's workforce was amazing and they cleaned up the jobsite everyday. The contractors they bring in to do the electrical, the flooring, the painting, and the tile work - they are all fabulous as well. We could trust them all and we would often leave during the day while they were working. Great job, will definitely use them again - here are some photos of the finished renovation of the kitchen and bathroom.

Just finished remodel of our master bath. Everyone at Premier was flexible and easy to work with throughout the process. Communication was great and the pricing was very fair. Everyone who came out from the demolition to the plumber, electrician and clean up were friendly and professional. They kept everything moving along and limited any disruption in our lives. We could not be happier with the finished product.

From start to finish, Premier Renovations was amazing to work with; I have recommended them to several friends! The entire team was very respectful, hard working and it was apparent how much they all enjoy their jobs which was nice to see! I really felt they go above and beyond to ensure the customer was pleased with the end product. I was beyond impressed with their communication throughout the entire project; whether it was to let me know the day to day schedule, or promptly responding to any inquiries. I can’t recommend them enough and plan to use them on future projects!

Questions we hear often
Frequently asked questions
The questions homeowners ask us most. If yours is not here, call the shop and ask.
Do you handle full home renovations or just single rooms?
Both. We're set up as a whole home remodeling contractor, so we can manage a full house transformation from the framing stage through final finish work, or we can focus on one space like a kitchen or bathroom.
What makes you different from a typical kitchen renovation contractor?
Our carpenters build custom cabinetry and millwork in-house, so your custom kitchen renovation isn't limited to stock cabinet lines. We design and build cabinetry to fit your exact layout and storage needs.
Do you handle permitting for structural work like additions?
Yes. We handle permitting and structural work for home additions and room expansions alongside our finish carpentry and remodeling services.
How does a renovation consultation work?
We start with an on-site walkthrough to understand your goals, existing layout, and budget. From there, we put together a scope of work and timeline before any contract is signed, so you know what to expect before committing.
