Home Remodeling Services Built for Myers Park's Historic Homes
Myers Park is known for its tree-lined streets, deep front porches, and homes dating back nearly a century, many designed by architects who shaped early Charlotte. Renovating a house near Providence Road or Wendover Road means working with plaster walls, original millwork, and floor plans that no longer match how families actually live today. From the grand colonials along Queens Road West to the bungalows near Freedom Park, we help homeowners update historic homes with the craftsmanship these houses deserve.
That's where our home remodeling services come in. We pair modern function, think open kitchens, expanded primary suites, and better storage, with woodwork and detailing that respects the home's original character rather than fighting against it.
Whether you're near Selwyn Avenue, Colony Road, or tucked closer to Myers Park Country Club, our team designs interior home remodeling that feels like it belongs in the house, not bolted onto it.
Why Myers Park Chooses Us
A Remodeling Contractor Who Understands Historic Charlotte
Homeowners in this neighborhood aren't looking for a generic remodel. They want a home remodeling contractor who knows how to work within older construction, respect neighborhood character, and still deliver the space their family actually needs.
Here's what sets our approach apart for Myers Park clients:
Craftsmanship That Matches Original Detail
Our finish carpentry and custom millwork are built to complement crown molding, wainscoting, and trim already found in Myers Park's older homes, not clash with it.
Experience With Historic District Considerations
We understand the realities of renovating near Freedom Park and other historic pockets, from foundation quirks to preserving street-facing facades while transforming the interior.
Luxury Home Remodeling Without the Guesswork
From design through final walkthrough, we manage every trade so homeowners get a smooth, well-communicated project instead of a string of disconnected contractors.
Our Services
Remodeling Services Available Throughout Myers Park
Every project starts with a conversation about how your family actually uses the home. From there, we bring the right combination of services to the table, whether that's a single-room refresh or whole home remodeling from top to bottom.
Every home in this neighborhood has its own history, so we start with a real conversation before any tools come out. Here's how a typical project moves forward.
01
Renovation Consultation
We walk your home together, discuss goals and home remodeling ideas, and talk through what's structurally possible given the age and layout of your house.
02
Design and Planning
Our team develops a design that balances your wish list with the realities of working in a historic home, including material selections and custom millwork details.
03
General Contracting and Build
As your general contractor, we coordinate every trade, from framing and drywall to finish carpentry, keeping the project on schedule and communication clear.
04
Final Walkthrough
We review every detail together before calling the project complete, making sure the finished space matches what we planned from day one.
Knowledgeable, professional and dependable.
Scott and his crew are knowledgeable and professional. We've done several home improvement projects with them throughout the years. We started with a small job of opening a wall and since then they have updated our kitchen, guest bathrooms and have completed a major bathroom renovation. We're proud to be repeat customers.

I contacted Premier Renovations to renovate my kitchen and two bathrooms. My parents would be moving upstairs into the space so it needed to be accommodating to their needs now and going forward. Scott and his team did an amazing job creating a comfortable and safe place for my parents while also staying within our budget. They have moved in and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Premier Renovations has been absolutely awesome to work with, helping us completely renovate our entire home out of the 1990s. The ideas they helped us come up with to make sure we were getting our dream home have been spot on, and we've been very happy with the overall end product. We'd highly recommend Premier to anyone considering a major renovation.

Premier just completed a major home renovation for us, new kitchen, new master bathroom and new hardwood floors. Premier's workforce was amazing and they cleaned up the jobsite everyday. The contractors they bring in to do the electrical, the flooring, the painting, and the tile work - they are all fabulous as well. We could trust them all and we would often leave during the day while they were working. Great job, will definitely use them again - here are some photos of the finished renovation of the kitchen and bathroom.

Just finished remodel of our master bath. Everyone at Premier was flexible and easy to work with throughout the process. Communication was great and the pricing was very fair. Everyone who came out from the demolition to the plumber, electrician and clean up were friendly and professional. They kept everything moving along and limited any disruption in our lives. We could not be happier with the finished product.

From start to finish, Premier Renovations was amazing to work with; I have recommended them to several friends! The entire team was very respectful, hard working and it was apparent how much they all enjoy their jobs which was nice to see! I really felt they go above and beyond to ensure the customer was pleased with the end product. I was beyond impressed with their communication throughout the entire project; whether it was to let me know the day to day schedule, or promptly responding to any inquiries. I can’t recommend them enough and plan to use them on future projects!

We just completed a large scale renovation with Premier Renovations and are extremely pleased. Scott and his crew did superb and timely job on our new kitchen, laundry room, butler's pantry, and outdoor patio. Scott's communication and problem solving skills rank him high as our contractor; in addition, he is a pleasure to work with. We are already planning phase 2 and will utilize Premier once again.
Also Serving Homeowners Throughout the Charlotte Region
Premier Renovations, Inc. works with homeowners across Myers Park and neighboring communities, including:
Do you handle full home renovations or just single rooms?
Both. We're set up as a whole home remodeling contractor, so we can manage a full house transformation from the framing stage through final finish work, or we can focus on one space like a kitchen or bathroom.
What makes you different from a typical kitchen renovation contractor?
Our carpenters build custom cabinetry and millwork in-house, so your custom kitchen renovation isn't limited to stock cabinet lines. We design and build cabinetry to fit your exact layout and storage needs.
Do you handle permitting for structural work like additions?
Yes. We handle permitting and structural work for home additions and room expansions alongside our finish carpentry and remodeling services.
How does a renovation consultation work?
We start with an on-site walkthrough to understand your goals, existing layout, and budget. From there, we put together a scope of work and timeline before any contract is signed, so you know what to expect before committing.
