A Home Renovation Company Building Better Homes for Charlotte Families
Premier Renovations, Inc. is a home renovation company built on craftsmanship and honesty. We turn worn-out spaces into rooms Charlotte families love to live in.
Premier Renovations, Inc. started with a simple frustration shared by too many homeowners: contractors who disappear mid-project, cut corners on carpentry, or leave a kitchen half-finished for months. Our founders set out to build a remodeling company that treats every project, from a single bathroom to a full home addition, with the same attention a custom furniture maker gives a piece meant to last generations. That same genuine love for the Charlotte area fuels every kitchen, bathroom, and addition we build today.
That philosophy still shapes how we operate today. As a residential remodeling contractor serving Charlotte and the surrounding towns, we combine skilled finish carpentry, custom millwork, and general contracting under one roof so homeowners never have to juggle multiple subcontractors or guess who's accountable for what. That single point of accountability matters most on larger projects that stretch across several months.
Over the years, our crews have completed everything from custom mudrooms and built-in cabinets to whole-house transformations across Charlotte and the surrounding communities we serve, including Myers Park, Eastover, NoDa, Foxcroft, Ballantyne, Piper Glen, Quail Hollow, Marvin, Weddington, Waxhaw, Davidson, Huntersville, Cornelius, Mooresville, and Denver. Each project adds to a growing body of work we're proud to stand behind.
What Guides Every Project We Take On
We built this company around a handful of values that show up in the details, not just in a mission statement. As an experienced remodeling contractor, we know homeowners are trusting us with their biggest investment, so we hold ourselves to standards that protect that trust. This mindset traces back to our roots in custom cabinetry, where every joint and finish had to be right the first time.
Treat every home like it's the only project on our schedule
Use honest, upfront pricing with no surprise change orders
Match craftsmanship quality to custom furniture-grade standards
Keep homeowners informed at every phase of construction
Respect the home, the property, and the family living in it daily
Stand behind our work long after the final walkthrough
These values shape how we schedule crews, communicate delays, and price every change order before work ever begins.
Why Choose Us
Why Homeowners Trust Our Home Renovation Company
Choosing a renovation company is a decision built on trust as much as talent. Here's what homeowners across Charlotte and the surrounding area tell us matters most when they hire us for kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodels, or a full home renovation. That same trust carries through whether the project is a modest bathroom update or a full home addition.
Full-Service General Contracting Experience
We operate as a full-service general contractor, managing permits, subcontractors, and inspections so homeowners have a single point of contact from demolition to final finish.
Custom Carpentry and Millwork Skill
Our in-house carpenters handle custom cabinetry, built-in furniture, and custom woodwork, giving us design flexibility that most remodeling companies have to outsource. This same skill lets us build custom mudrooms and other built-ins tailored to each home.
A Real Local Track Record
Across Charlotte and every neighboring town we serve, we've completed custom kitchen renovations, custom bathroom renovations, and home additions that neighbors can see and homeowners can vouch for. Many of these projects started as simple conversations about how a family actually wanted to use their home.
How we work
Our Approach to Every Renovation
Whether it's an open floor plan kitchen conversion or a full room addition, we follow a consistent process designed to keep projects on schedule and homeowners fully in the loop. We keep communication simple, so you always know what to expect next.
01
Renovation Consultation
We start with an in-home consultation to understand how you use your space, what's not working, and what your budget and timeline actually allow for.
02
Design and Planning
Our team develops a detailed plan covering layout, materials, custom cabinetry or millwork, and permitting, so there are no surprises once construction begins.
03
Construction and Craftsmanship
Our carpenters and trade partners execute the build with the same finish-level attention we'd want in our own homes, from framing through custom storage and finish carpentry.
04
Final Walkthrough and Follow-Up
We walk every project with you before calling it complete, and we stay reachable after the crew leaves in case anything needs a second look.

Renovation Feedback From Real Charlotte Homeowners
Knowledgeable, professional and dependable.
Scott and his crew are knowledgeable and professional. We've done several home improvement projects with them throughout the years. We started with a small job of opening a wall and since then they have updated our kitchen, guest bathrooms and have completed a major bathroom renovation. We're proud to be repeat customers.

I contacted Premier Renovations to renovate my kitchen and two bathrooms. My parents would be moving upstairs into the space so it needed to be accommodating to their needs now and going forward. Scott and his team did an amazing job creating a comfortable and safe place for my parents while also staying within our budget. They have moved in and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Premier Renovations has been absolutely awesome to work with, helping us completely renovate our entire home out of the 1990s. The ideas they helped us come up with to make sure we were getting our dream home have been spot on, and we've been very happy with the overall end product. We'd highly recommend Premier to anyone considering a major renovation.

Premier just completed a major home renovation for us, new kitchen, new master bathroom and new hardwood floors. Premier's workforce was amazing and they cleaned up the jobsite everyday. The contractors they bring in to do the electrical, the flooring, the painting, and the tile work - they are all fabulous as well. We could trust them all and we would often leave during the day while they were working. Great job, will definitely use them again - here are some photos of the finished renovation of the kitchen and bathroom.

Just finished remodel of our master bath. Everyone at Premier was flexible and easy to work with throughout the process. Communication was great and the pricing was very fair. Everyone who came out from the demolition to the plumber, electrician and clean up were friendly and professional. They kept everything moving along and limited any disruption in our lives. We could not be happier with the finished product.

From start to finish, Premier Renovations was amazing to work with; I have recommended them to several friends! The entire team was very respectful, hard working and it was apparent how much they all enjoy their jobs which was nice to see! I really felt they go above and beyond to ensure the customer was pleased with the end product. I was beyond impressed with their communication throughout the entire project; whether it was to let me know the day to day schedule, or promptly responding to any inquiries. I can’t recommend them enough and plan to use them on future projects!

We just completed a large scale renovation with Premier Renovations and are extremely pleased. Scott and his crew did superb and timely job on our new kitchen, laundry room, butler's pantry, and outdoor patio. Scott's communication and problem solving skills rank him high as our contractor; in addition, he is a pleasure to work with. We are already planning phase 2 and will utilize Premier once again.
Questions we hear often
Frequently asked questions
The questions homeowners ask us most. If yours is not here, call the shop and ask.
Do you handle full home renovations or just single rooms?
Both. We're set up as a whole home remodeling contractor, so we can manage a full house transformation from the framing stage through final finish work, or we can focus on one space like a kitchen or bathroom.
What makes you different from a typical kitchen renovation contractor?
Our carpenters build custom cabinetry and millwork in-house, so your custom kitchen renovation isn't limited to stock cabinet lines. We design and build cabinetry to fit your exact layout and storage needs.
Do you handle permitting for structural work like additions?
Yes. We handle permitting and structural work for home additions and room expansions alongside our finish carpentry and remodeling services.
How does a renovation consultation work?
We start with an on-site walkthrough to understand your goals, existing layout, and budget. From there, we put together a scope of work and timeline before any contract is signed, so you know what to expect before committing.
