Open Floor Plan Kitchen Conversions and Home Remodeling in Charlotte, NC
Premier Renovations, Inc. is Charlotte's trusted partner for custom kitchen renovations, bathroom renovation contractor services, and whole-house transformations. From Dilworth bungalows to SouthPark estates, we help homeowners across the Queen City build spaces that fit how they actually live.
Kitchen Renovation Contractor Solutions for Every Charlotte Neighborhood
Charlotte's housing stock is a mix of decades-old character and new construction, and that variety shapes how we approach every project. A 1940s cottage near Freedom Park needs different structural thinking than a two-story colonial off Providence Road, and our team has the general contracting and finish carpentry background to handle both.
Open floor plan kitchen conversions are some of our most requested projects in this city. So many Charlotte homes built before the 1990s were laid out room by room, with a closed-off kitchen tucked behind a wall from the dining and living space. As a kitchen renovation contractor, we remove that separation and rebuild the layout around how families actually gather, cook, and entertain today.
Homeowners across Mecklenburg County call on us for a wide range of projects, including:
Open floor plan kitchen conversions that connect the kitchen to living and dining areas
Custom kitchen renovations with built-in cabinetry sized to the actual room, not a catalog
Bathroom remodels and full custom bathroom renovations for dated or cramped baths
Room additions and home expansions for growing families
Custom mudrooms and storage solutions built into entryways and hallways
Outdoor living spaces, patios, and porches that extend the home into the yard
Why Charlotte homeowners choose us
What Sets Premier Renovations Apart as a Renovation Contractor
We built our reputation on being the remodeling company Charlotte homeowners can trust to show up, communicate clearly, and finish what they start. Here's what that looks like in practice.
Local Knowledge, Local Crews
We know Charlotte's permitting process, HOA quirks, and the age-related surprises common in neighborhoods like Myers Park and Eastover. That local knowledge keeps projects moving without costly delays.
Custom Carpentry, Done In-House
From custom mudrooms to built-in bookshelves, our carpentry team handles woodwork most contractors subcontract out. That means tighter craftsmanship and one point of accountability for the whole project.
One Contractor, Whole Home
We're not limited to a single trade. As a residential remodeling contractor offering kitchens, baths, additions, and outdoor spaces, we can manage a whole home remodeling project without you juggling five separate companies.
Honest Renovation Consultations
Every project starts with a renovation consultation where we walk your space, talk through your goals, and give you a realistic scope and budget before any demo begins.

How Your Charlotte Renovation Project Comes Together
Every project follows the same clear path, whether it's a single open floor plan kitchen conversion or a full home renovation touching every room.
01
Renovation Consultation
We walk your home in person, talk through how you use each room, and listen to what isn't working. You'll get honest feedback on what's possible within your budget and timeline.
02
Design and Scope
We turn your goals into a concrete plan, including layout changes, materials, cabinetry, and finishes. You'll know the full scope before a single wall comes down.
03
Permitting and Prep
We handle permitting through the City of Charlotte or your county, along with any HOA approvals your neighborhood requires. This groundwork prevents delays once construction starts.
04
Build and Final Walkthrough
Our in-house carpentry and general contracting crews handle demolition through finish work, with regular updates along the way. We close out every project with a walkthrough to confirm every detail meets our standard.
Knowledgeable, professional and dependable.
Scott and his crew are knowledgeable and professional. We've done several home improvement projects with them throughout the years. We started with a small job of opening a wall and since then they have updated our kitchen, guest bathrooms and have completed a major bathroom renovation. We're proud to be repeat customers.

I contacted Premier Renovations to renovate my kitchen and two bathrooms. My parents would be moving upstairs into the space so it needed to be accommodating to their needs now and going forward. Scott and his team did an amazing job creating a comfortable and safe place for my parents while also staying within our budget. They have moved in and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Premier just completed a major home renovation for us, new kitchen, new master bathroom and new hardwood floors. Premier's workforce was amazing and they cleaned up the jobsite everyday. The contractors they bring in to do the electrical, the flooring, the painting, and the tile work - they are all fabulous as well. We could trust them all and we would often leave during the day while they were working. Great job, will definitely use them again - here are some photos of the finished renovation of the kitchen and bathroom.

Just finished remodel of our master bath. Everyone at Premier was flexible and easy to work with throughout the process. Communication was great and the pricing was very fair. Everyone who came out from the demolition to the plumber, electrician and clean up were friendly and professional. They kept everything moving along and limited any disruption in our lives. We could not be happier with the finished product.

From start to finish, Premier Renovations was amazing to work with; I have recommended them to several friends! The entire team was very respectful, hard working and it was apparent how much they all enjoy their jobs which was nice to see! I really felt they go above and beyond to ensure the customer was pleased with the end product. I was beyond impressed with their communication throughout the entire project; whether it was to let me know the day to day schedule, or promptly responding to any inquiries. I can’t recommend them enough and plan to use them on future projects!

Neighborhoods and Towns We Serve Near Charlotte
Premier Renovations serves homeowners throughout Charlotte and the surrounding communities, including:
Do you handle full home renovations or just single rooms?
Both. We're set up as a whole home remodeling contractor, so we can manage a full house transformation from the framing stage through final finish work, or we can focus on one space like a kitchen or bathroom.
What makes you different from a typical kitchen renovation contractor?
Our carpenters build custom cabinetry and millwork in-house, so your custom kitchen renovation isn't limited to stock cabinet lines. We design and build cabinetry to fit your exact layout and storage needs.
Do you handle permitting for structural work like additions?
Yes. We handle permitting and structural work for home additions and room expansions alongside our finish carpentry and remodeling services.
How does a renovation consultation work?
We start with an on-site walkthrough to understand your goals, existing layout, and budget. From there, we put together a scope of work and timeline before any contract is signed, so you know what to expect before committing.
