Custom Kitchen Renovations and Home Remodeling in Gastonia, NC
Premier Renovations, Inc. brings custom kitchen renovations, custom bathroom renovations, and full home renovations to homeowners across Gastonia, from mill houses near Loray to newer construction off New Hope Road.
A Kitchen Renovation Contractor Who Understands Gastonia Homes
Gastonia's housing stock tells the story of a mill town that reinvented itself. Historic bungalows near Downtown Gastonia and South Street sit alongside newer construction closer to Crowders Mountain and the Highway 321 corridor, and each type of home calls for a different remodeling approach.
We've opened up cramped kitchens in mill village homes near the old Loray Mill, added custom built-in furniture to newer builds off New Hope Road, and handled full home renovations for growing families who want more room without leaving their Gastonia neighborhood. Homes near Rankin Lake Park and the York Chester Historic District bring their own quirks, from narrow galley kitchens to plaster walls that need a careful hand.
As a residential renovations partner based in the Charlotte area, we bring that same craftsmanship and project management to every Gastonia project. Each renovation starts with a conversation about how your household actually uses the space, then moves into design and construction with a team that shows up when it says it will.
Why Gastonia Homeowners Choose Us
The Premier Renovations Difference
Choosing a remodeling company is a decision you live with for years, not months. Here's what sets our approach apart for homeowners planning a renovation in Gastonia.
Full-Service General Contracting
As your general contractor, we manage every trade and permit under one roof, so you get a single point of contact instead of juggling subcontractors on your own.
Finish Carpentry and Custom Millwork
Our in-house carpentry background means custom cabinetry, built-in cabinets, and trim work are done to a standard most remodeling companies subcontract out and hope for the best.
Whole-House Transformations, Not Just Rooms
Whether it's one kitchen or a full remodeling project across the entire house, we scope the work so every phase fits together visually and structurally, room by room.

What a Gastonia Renovation Looks Like With Premier Renovations
Every project follows a clear path from first conversation to final walkthrough, whether you're near Downtown Gastonia or out toward Crowders Mountain.
01
Renovation Consultation
We walk your home, discuss your goals and budget, and talk through how your household actually uses the space before any design work begins.
02
Design and Scope
We turn that conversation into a detailed plan, covering layout, materials, cabinetry, and finishes so you know what to expect before demolition starts.
03
Permitting and Scheduling
We pull the necessary Gaston County permits and coordinate every trade, so you aren't left tracking down electricians or plumbers on your own.
04
Construction and Final Walkthrough
Our crew builds to the plan, keeps you updated along the way, and finishes with a walkthrough to confirm every detail meets your expectations.
Knowledgeable, professional and dependable.
Scott and his crew are knowledgeable and professional. We've done several home improvement projects with them throughout the years. We started with a small job of opening a wall and since then they have updated our kitchen, guest bathrooms and have completed a major bathroom renovation. We're proud to be repeat customers.

I contacted Premier Renovations to renovate my kitchen and two bathrooms. My parents would be moving upstairs into the space so it needed to be accommodating to their needs now and going forward. Scott and his team did an amazing job creating a comfortable and safe place for my parents while also staying within our budget. They have moved in and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Premier Renovations has been absolutely awesome to work with, helping us completely renovate our entire home out of the 1990s. The ideas they helped us come up with to make sure we were getting our dream home have been spot on, and we've been very happy with the overall end product. We'd highly recommend Premier to anyone considering a major renovation.

Premier just completed a major home renovation for us, new kitchen, new master bathroom and new hardwood floors. Premier's workforce was amazing and they cleaned up the jobsite everyday. The contractors they bring in to do the electrical, the flooring, the painting, and the tile work - they are all fabulous as well. We could trust them all and we would often leave during the day while they were working. Great job, will definitely use them again - here are some photos of the finished renovation of the kitchen and bathroom.

Just finished remodel of our master bath. Everyone at Premier was flexible and easy to work with throughout the process. Communication was great and the pricing was very fair. Everyone who came out from the demolition to the plumber, electrician and clean up were friendly and professional. They kept everything moving along and limited any disruption in our lives. We could not be happier with the finished product.

From start to finish, Premier Renovations was amazing to work with; I have recommended them to several friends! The entire team was very respectful, hard working and it was apparent how much they all enjoy their jobs which was nice to see! I really felt they go above and beyond to ensure the customer was pleased with the end product. I was beyond impressed with their communication throughout the entire project; whether it was to let me know the day to day schedule, or promptly responding to any inquiries. I can’t recommend them enough and plan to use them on future projects!

Frequently Asked Questions About Remodeling in Gastonia
We know a renovation is a big decision. Here are answers to the questions Gastonia homeowners ask us most often.
Do you handle both custom kitchen renovations and full home renovations?
Yes. We take on projects of every size, from a single custom kitchen renovation to full home renovations that touch nearly every room. Our team scopes each project individually so the work matches your budget and timeline.
Do you manage permitting and every trade for my renovation?
Premier Renovations, Inc. manages permitting, scheduling, and every trade involved in your renovation, serving Gastonia and the surrounding Charlotte area. You deal with one team from start to finish.
Can you match the style of an older Gastonia home?
Absolutely. Many of our projects involve blending custom cabinetry, trim, and millwork into homes with existing character, particularly in older neighborhoods near downtown and the York Chester Historic District. We design new work to complement what's already there instead of fighting against it.
What does a kitchen remodeling project usually cost in Gastonia?
Costs vary based on layout changes, cabinetry, and finish selections, which is why every project starts with a renovation consultation. We'll walk your kitchen, talk through your priorities, and give you a scope and budget built around your actual home rather than a generic estimate.
How do I start a renovation project with Premier Renovations?
Every project begins with a renovation consultation where we walk through your space, discuss goals and budget, and outline next steps. From there, we move into design and scheduling before construction begins.
