Custom Mudrooms and Custom Woodwork Across Greater Charlotte
Premier Renovations, Inc. builds custom mudrooms, cabinetry, and built-ins for homeowners across Charlotte and the surrounding towns, with the same craftsmanship on every project.
A Remodeling Company Rooted in the Charlotte Region
Premier Renovations, Inc. is based near the Idlewild Road corridor in east Charlotte, NC, close to Matthews and Mint Hill, and we have spent years building relationships with homeowners in every direction from there. That local footing means we know how a 1920s bungalow in Myers Park settles differently than a newer build in Ballantyne, and how a lake house near Denver has storage needs a townhouse in NoDa never will.
As a general contractor, we handle everything from a single custom cabinet installation to a full home renovation with additions and structural changes. Our finish carpentry team builds custom woodwork, built-in cabinets, and custom millwork on site, so the fit and finish match the actual walls and floors of your house rather than a factory template.
Whether you are planning custom kitchen renovations, a full custom bathroom renovation, or an open floor plan kitchen conversion to open up a closed-off layout, we scope the work around your home's age, structure, and the way your family actually lives in it.

Knowledgeable, professional and dependable.
Scott and his crew are knowledgeable and professional. We've done several home improvement projects with them throughout the years. We started with a small job of opening a wall and since then they have updated our kitchen, guest bathrooms and have completed a major bathroom renovation. We're proud to be repeat customers.

I recently hired Premier Renovations for a complete master bathroom remodel, and I could not be more pleased with the entire experience and final result. From start to finish, their team was professional, responsive, and extremely detail-oriented.
They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered a finished product that exceeded my expectations. The quality of workmanship was outstanding, and every aspect of the project was completed with care and attention to detail. The crew was punctual, respectful of my home, and maintained a clean and organized work area throughout the renovation.
Communication was excellent during the entire process. Any questions or changes were handled promptly, and they kept me informed every step of the way. The finished bathroom looks absolutely incredible.
I would highly recommend Premier Renovations to anyone considering a remodeling project.

I contacted Premier Renovations to renovate my kitchen and two bathrooms. My parents would be moving upstairs into the space so it needed to be accommodating to their needs now and going forward. Scott and his team did an amazing job creating a comfortable and safe place for my parents while also staying within our budget. They have moved in and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Premier Renovations has been absolutely awesome to work with, helping us completely renovate our entire home out of the 1990s. The ideas they helped us come up with to make sure we were getting our dream home have been spot on, and we've been very happy with the overall end product. We'd highly recommend Premier to anyone considering a major renovation.

Premier just completed a major home renovation for us, new kitchen, new master bathroom and new hardwood floors. Premier's workforce was amazing and they cleaned up the jobsite everyday. The contractors they bring in to do the electrical, the flooring, the painting, and the tile work - they are all fabulous as well. We could trust them all and we would often leave during the day while they were working. Great job, will definitely use them again - here are some photos of the finished renovation of the kitchen and bathroom.

Just finished remodel of our master bath. Everyone at Premier was flexible and easy to work with throughout the process. Communication was great and the pricing was very fair. Everyone who came out from the demolition to the plumber, electrician and clean up were friendly and professional. They kept everything moving along and limited any disruption in our lives. We could not be happier with the finished product.

From start to finish, Premier Renovations was amazing to work with; I have recommended them to several friends! The entire team was very respectful, hard working and it was apparent how much they all enjoy their jobs which was nice to see! I really felt they go above and beyond to ensure the customer was pleased with the end product. I was beyond impressed with their communication throughout the entire project; whether it was to let me know the day to day schedule, or promptly responding to any inquiries. I can’t recommend them enough and plan to use them on future projects!

We just completed a large scale renovation with Premier Renovations and are extremely pleased. Scott and his crew did superb and timely job on our new kitchen, laundry room, butler's pantry, and outdoor patio. Scott's communication and problem solving skills rank him high as our contractor; in addition, he is a pleasure to work with. We are already planning phase 2 and will utilize Premier once again.
Questions we hear often
Frequently asked questions
The questions homeowners ask us most. If yours is not here, call the shop and ask.
Do you handle full home renovations or just single rooms?
Both. We're set up as a whole home remodeling contractor, so we can manage a full house transformation from the framing stage through final finish work, or we can focus on one space like a kitchen or bathroom.
What makes you different from a typical kitchen renovation contractor?
Our carpenters build custom cabinetry and millwork in-house, so your custom kitchen renovation isn't limited to stock cabinet lines. We design and build cabinetry to fit your exact layout and storage needs.
Do you handle permitting for structural work like additions?
Yes. We handle permitting and structural work for home additions and room expansions alongside our finish carpentry and remodeling services.
How does a renovation consultation work?
We start with an on-site walkthrough to understand your goals, existing layout, and budget. From there, we put together a scope of work and timeline before any contract is signed, so you know what to expect before committing.
